Our Lady Of Mt Carmel – Our Lady Of Mt Carmel Primary School, Sunbury

Commissioned to coincide with the refurbishment and opening of new extensions to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Primary School Sunbury, this statue is to commemorate the pioneering work of the Sisters of St Joseph and their 74 years service to the Sunbury community. Some comment from Mr. Peter Hayes, Principal, are noted in “Comments” section of this site.

The statue is 1.2 metres in height and is displayed in the entrance foyer of the school at 53 Macedon St Sunbury.
