"Sandstone Whale". Carved from New Zealand sandstone for Mr T. McKenna of
Huamoana N.Z. The eye is the beautiful shell of the Paua with its beautiful iridescent blue, green and red colourings. The sculpture incorporates several stylised forms of the fern
fronds used extensively in Maori art.
