Oscar’s Wombat

On a visit to Melbourne in July 2006 with his parents Oscar fell in love with “Warin” in the City Square and visited him daily. On return home to Sydney Oscar’s mother decided to follow up and made contact to discuss the possibility of having a similar wombat made for him and transported to their home. Oscar’s wombat was duly delivered in December 2006, is installed and greatly loved in the garden behind their home. He is similar in size to “Wareen”

They have given him the name”George”.
